Social entrepreneurs that ideate, create and implement sustainable business solutions

Enactus is an internationally recognised, student-led organisation which enables entrepreneurial action through community engagement. We use entrepreneurship and innovation to create sustainable business models which positively impact the planet, people and prosperity. We seek to bring significant change to the communities we work in.

We as the University of Cape Town's branch of Enactus are specifically focused on tackling the City of Cape Town's most recent issue of drought. All our projects are focused at providing solutions to the city's water insecurity. We believe that our solutions, once proven successful in our beneficiary communities can be scaled to benefit more communities within the Western Cape.
About Us

President's Message
A story about Superheroes, The New Breed
At the core, we are all driven by a desire to make an impact; a desire to be remembered for
something worthwhile. Enactus is a fully encompassing incubator for one such desire by allowing not only an opportunity to impact the lives of others through sustainable entrepreneurial
intervention, but by going above and beyond to impart skills, knowledge and resources that set us
apart as leaders and high impact individuals.
My ‘why’ is that I am a believer in this potential of impact in not only myself, but those around me!
Social Entrepreneurship is far bigger than you and I, but I believe we have a huge role to play in the betterment of our social and economic landscapes.
To those who are walking this journey with us as members, partners and sponsors; Siyabonga!
Siyakhula, Siyaqhuba, Sizonqoba!
(We are growing, We are pushing, We will Conquer!)
Ngokubonga,
Simphiwe Nyathikazi
Enactus UCT President
